Terms of Service

Effective Date: March 25, 2026

1. Agreement to Terms

By accessing and using My Business Consultant ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. The Service is operated by Skylark Halo Corporation, a Canadian company based in Kingston, Ontario.

2. Free Trial Terms

All paid plans include a 48-hour free trial period. During the trial:

• No credit card is required to start
• You have full access to the selected plan's features
• You may cancel at any time before the trial ends with no charge
• If not cancelled, billing begins automatically after 48 hours

3. Subscription Terms

Billing: All subscriptions are billed monthly in Canadian dollars (CAD). HST may apply based on your province of residence.

Cancellation: You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Cancellations take effect at the end of the current billing period.

Changes: You may upgrade or downgrade your plan at any time. Changes take effect immediately, and billing is prorated.

4. Refund Policy

If you are not satisfied with the Service, you may request a pro-rata refund within 7 days of your initial payment. Refunds are processed within 10 business days. Subsequent renewals are non-refundable.

5. Acceptable Use Policy

You agree not to:

• Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
• Attempt to reverse engineer, decompile, or access the source code
• Transmit viruses, malware, or any harmful code
• Scrape, harvest, or collect data from other users
• Abuse, harass, or impersonate others
• Share your account credentials with others

6. AI-Generated Content

The Service provides AI-generated business advice and recommendations. While we strive for accuracy, the content is provided "as is" without warranty. You are responsible for validating and implementing any recommendations in accordance with applicable laws and your specific circumstances.

7. Intellectual Property

The Service, including its original content, features, and functionality, is owned by Skylark Halo Corporation and is protected by Canadian and international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws. You retain ownership of your business data.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Skylark Halo Corporation shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, whether incurred directly or indirectly, or any loss of data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.

9. Governing Law

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law provisions.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. We will notify you of material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new Terms.
